While it is universally acknowledged that polar bears and panda bears are pretty cool (pun unintended), they are also known to be endangered species. Both have found themselves in this position due to the loss of their natural habitats, be it the industrialization of bamboo forests or the melting of ice in the arctic. The debate on this topic is an interesting one and highly controversial.
